On the rolling hills below Satus Peak lay our acres of bountiful fruit orchards. For centuries, cultures have grown and harvested fruits and provided them to keep their people fed and healthy. One of our goals at Green Acre Farms is to provide the best quality apples, pears, peaches and nectarines possible. We use both traditional and organic methods for growing our fruit. Growing organic varieties of fruit poses challenges that not many growers are able to overcome in their operations. Green Acre Farms is also one of the very few growers in the United States able to grow some club varieties of apples, such as the Jazz™, Pacific Rose™, and Envy™.
We train our employees frequently in careful handling and packaging practices. We maintain Organic Certification for part of our orchards. We have well experienced farmers to provide us with knowledge that is otherwise hard to come by. These farmers work along side of our seasonal employees; sharing their expertise, skill, knowledge, and experience enables them to ensure that our produce stands up to our great quality and food safety standards. We are Global Gap Compliant. We operate a successful orchard, producing fruits of the best possible grade. We strive day and night to produce fruits that are all healthy, delicious, and exactly what our customers and your customers want to bring home to their families.
